Gillham The latest 7th edition book by
Roger Gillham is now available from most major book sellers. The
new book now is a huge 400 pages.
This new and much larger book now has
over 1500 color images and features dedicated chapters on models
and sets built and sold in Australia and New Zealand, France,
Spain (SuperSlot, Exin, STS, SRS and TT), Mexico, USA (and
SuperScale), Canada, Japan, Argentina and the UK. Plus listed
details from 1957 to 2008 of all cars, sets, motors, guides,
track and accessories made.

on TV and Film themed Scalextric, police cars, race officials

History of the car
It is the year’s most enduring race – lasting 24 hours
and covering more than 380 laps. Peugeot proved their mettle by
winning the prestigious
Le Mans 24 Hours.
Powering them to victory at the annual event in June 2009 was
the 908’s V12 HDi FAP diesel engine. Three Peugeot 908 HDi FAP
sports prototypes had entered under the Peugeot Sport banner at
the historic Circuit de la Sarthe.
And in a true test of stamina and car performance, the No 9 car
- driven by Marc Gené, David Brabham and Alexander Wurz - was
first past the chequered flag. It was a one-two win for Peugeot,
with the No 8 car, driven by Stéphane Sarrazin, Franck Montagny
and Sébastien Bourdais coming in second.
